Auto Layout was first introduced in Mac OS X Lion and after a year Apple introduced it in iOS 6 as a new and easy alternative to create user interfaces. Auto Layout is useful for iOS developer to create and maintain view which is independent of any device screen size and orientation. You will need to apply constraints to each element to create this behavior and set it to get placed in view on a specific position that you want.
