Cookies and HTML5 LocalStorage serve different purposes although they both store data on client-side. While Cookies are meant to be sent to the server with each request, HTML5 LocalStorage comes with the idea of storing data locally, without transmitting it to the server. In the past, we have used cookies to save data generated by user, on the client side. But there have been multiple issues
