The Self-Tracking Entity Generator for WPF/Silverlight can optionally generate ClientQuery and ClientFilter class implementations that provide the capability to dynamically build type-safe queries for sorting, paging, and filtering. These queries can then be used as part of WCF Service calls and merged as part of LINQ to Entities queries. In this article, we will discuss the methods and properties of these two classes, and we will also see how to use these two classes with examples from our demo application.
